Help Save-A-Pet Celebrate Adopt-A-Cat Month

At any shelter, kittens tend to find homes rather quickly. But older cats, shy cats, and black cats have a much bigger struggle ahead of them. As a result, June has been designated, "Adopt-A-Cat Month," in an effort to increase adoptions and to also shed light on these sad statistics.

Just recently, we at Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. witnessed this firsthand. While May's "Kitten Shower' was extremely successful and helped place more than 20 kittens, we still need forever homes for many loving adult cats that would make wonderful companions. Now is the perfect time to come visit and consider adopting one of our many feline residents. Save-A-Pet will even waive the adoption fees for any cat over one-year-old.
