The best things in life really are free! During the month of February, Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. and its team of professional matchmakers are available to help those find that special someone by waiving adoption fees on all adult cats as well as dogs over 50 pounds.

Lynne Schoepfer to Be Guest Speaker at Port Jefferson Free Library's "Green Teens" Meeting

Save-A-Pet Executive Director Lynne Schoepfer will speak to members of the Green Teens about what they can do to help the shelter, the importance of spaying, neutering and microchipping your pet and the benefits of adopting over buying a pet. This lecture will be held February 25 at the Port Jefferson Free Library's Teen Center, located at 150 East Main Street in Port Jefferson. Read More

Monty, a young medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier, is available for adoption right here at Save-A-Pet. He will give you all his love and will never leave you lonely. He only has his heart to give. He is neutered and house-broken and is up-to-date with all routine shots. Please don't make Monty wait another minute longer!

How You Can Help Save-A-Pet

Help Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center shelter a dog or cat until he/she is adopted. $50.00 will spay/neuter a stray cat, $75.00 will help rescue a dog, and $100.00 will provide needed surgeries. 100% of the donations go directly to the animals and are tax-deductible. Payments are secure and you will truly make a difference in the life of a shelter animal on Long Island.
