Ruff Riders Rally

Get your motor running... This motorcycle run is full of fun! Join Save-A-Pet as we hit the road raising money to care for rescued animals.

This year's event starts at Petco in Rocky Point at 345 Rte. 25A and will end at Hooters of Islandia at 3701 Expressway Drive North.

There will be breakfast, lunch, raffles and live music.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Kickstands go up at 11 a.m. The registration fee is $20 per biker. Proceeds benefit Save-A-Pet. All Bikers Welcome!

Erica Kutzing Named Director of Operations


Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. has named Erica Kutzing as its new Director of Operations.

When she was 13 years old, Ms. Kutzing earned the Junior Volunteer Award from Save-A-Pet, which commended all of the good work she was doing for the center. Her volunteer work consisted of cleaning, feeding, socializing, training and caring for the animals. Read More

How You Can Help Save-A-Pet

Help Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center shelter a dog or cat until he/she is adopted. $50.00 will spay/neuter a stray cat, $75.00 will help rescue a dog, and $100.00 will provide needed surgeries. 100% of the donations go directly to the animals and are tax-deductible. Payments are secure and you will truly make a difference in the life of a shelter animal on Long Island.
