One simple act of kindness can make a difference in a pet’s life. Save-A-Pet wants to remind you that “Change a Pet’s Life Day” is today and it’s the perfect time to express your love for pets and also consider adoption, since there are countless animals that yearn to be a part of a loving family.

“Change a Pet’s Life Day” was created for nationwide recognition of homeless pets in need of forever, loving homes. Whether you choose to adopt a new friend, make a donation, sponsor one of our many homeless pets, or volunteer — your generosity will go a long way for an adorable pet that is seeking affection.

If you are considering adopting a furry family member, Save-A-Pet has many animals that are in need of forever homes. Tiger, a five-year-old black and gray cat is looking for a new home after his owner recently had a baby and had no choice but to put him up for adoption.

Bonita, a young, tan and white pit bull terrier with a sweet smile is anxiously waiting to be placed in a loving home since she has been living in a shelter her entire life. Bonita is active and playful, which makes her the ideal family dog.
