Fifty-five people brought in their pets to have their pictures taken with "Santa Paws" at Castaways, Save-A-Pet’s retail store, on December 8-9. All proceeds benefited Save-A-Pet and its animal rescue, adoption, and spay-and-neuter programs. Read More

Due to Hurricane Sandy, Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center Inc., has postponed its 12th Annual "Evening for the Love of Animals" Fur Ball on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 7-11 p.m. The event will still be held at Flowerfield Celebrations Catering, located at 199 Mills Pond Road in St. James. How You Can Help Save-A-Pet

Help Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center shelter a dog or cat until he/she is adopted. $50.00 will spay/neuter a stray cat, $75.00 will help rescue a dog, and $100.00 will provide needed surgeries. 100% of the donations go directly to the animals and are tax-deductible. Payments are secure and you will truly make a difference in the life of a shelter animal on Long Island.
