Save-A-Pet Presents 15th Annual Hounds on the Sound 3K Walk and Dog Adoption Event to Benefit Sheltered Animals

Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. presents the 15th annual Hounds on the Sound 3K Walk and Dog Adoption Event, which will take place June 8 at Memorial Park (off Route 25A and just west of the Port Jefferson Ferry) in downtown Port Jefferson from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to raise money for the orphaned animals at Save-A-Pet.

The day will be filled with live music courtesy of, food, vendors, contests, raffles and prizes. In addition, there will be companion animals for adoption from Save-A-Pet, in hopes that they will find a loving family to take them into their home.

Registration is $30 and includes a free T-shirt and gift bag. Those who raise $200 or more in pledges will receive a special Save-A-Pet hoodie. “We are getting excited as we prepare for our annual 3K walk, with all proceeds going to homeless pets,” said Dori Scofield, Founder/President, Save-A-Pet. “Walkers can also create profiles and join a special online community, in which they share their love for animals.”
