Over 100 Dog Owners Brave the Rain and Clouds at the 16th Annual Hounds on the Sound and Pet Festival
On June 20, more than 100 dogs braved the bad weather and joined their owners for Save-A-Pet's 16th Annual Hounds on the Sound and Pet Festival at Port Jefferson Harbor Memorial Park. Those in attendance had the opportunity to take part in the blessing of the pets, listen to live music courtesy of Act1Entertainment.net, visit some of the vendors and enjoy lunch.
Those who visited Save-A-Pet's table also had the opportunity to see the dogs that were available for adoption and learn about the benefits of adoption, as opposed to buying from a pet store.
