Mutts & Merlot Event to Benefit Orphaned Animals of Save-A-Pet

(Port Jefferson Station, NY) — Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. will hold the third annual “Mutts & Merlot” event at the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard on Friday, August 2, from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm. The event — which was originally planned for July 26 — will benefit the many orphaned animals awaiting homes at Save-A-Pet.
“Mutts & Merlot” will feature a tasting of select wines from the vineyard, hors d’oeuvres, raffles, and live music. Animals that are available for adoption from the center will also be joining in on the festivities.
“We’re so pleased to continue our partnership with the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard for this wonderful event,” said Dori Scofield, Founder/President of Save-A-Pet. “We believe it offers something unique for supporters of the shelter and we’re hopeful that it will attract new donors and potential adoptees for our animals in need.”
